The 1 minute manual
- You start in the bottom right window: there you create records for topics that are interesting to you (using +)
- The upper right and upper left window are related to the topic just created. A double click on the upper left window opens a text editor. Here you can exactly define what the topic is about.
- In the upper right window you can attach files and programs to the record by using the "attach" button. All attachments (programs, e-mail, file, website) can be started from the upper right window by double clicking on the attachment. You can add comments to the attachments by pressing the function key F2 or by double clicking on the memo field. In this way you will create a long list of records (bottom right window), that will become very unorganized.
- Now we will use the category tree in the bottom left window. Here you can create (similar to windows explorer) categories related to the content of your records .
- Now you can drag & drop record entries from the bottom right window to the category tree in the bottom left window. You can assign one record to one category or to multiple categories. Ihre Einträge (Fenster unten rechts) ziehen Sie jetzt in den Kategoriebaum und strukturieren sie dadurch inhaltlich. Einen Eintrag können Sie einer oder mehreren Kategorien zuordnen.
- Since you have to create your own categories and have to structure your data, high flexibilty is obtained. You are not bounded to a fixed structure with respect to the content. See the manual for details [Download].
- Important: Editing fields is almost everywhere possible by using the function key F2.
